Digital Kona+PMS Color Match Study Swatchbook

I wanted a .ase swatchbook file for all the Kona Solid Colors to upload into Adobe Illustrator, so I made one!

This swatch file also comes with a .pdf file (open with Acrobat Reader) that has a scan of each fabric swatch in the Kona swatchbook. It also has matching Hex Codes, RGB & CMYK values for each swatch.

I also added the best match to Pantone Solid Coated colors, and those Pantone colors have been added to the .ase swatch file for printing purposes.
To get the best Pantone to Kona match, I cut apart actual swatchbooks and matched physical swatches together.The actual photos of these matches are at the end of the .pdf file.

To upload the .ase file for use in Adobe Illustrator, place .ase file into the Swatch folder in Illustrator:
Applications > Illustrator > Presets > en_US > Swatches

Then restart Illustrator. The Kona color swatches should be available to use when you open the swatch window.
